I’m Kate and I’ve been designing and making ceramics since 2011.
As my first business, Gilbert and Stone, grew I began to look for a production partner who could help me expand my range and produce my designs in larger volumes. I started working with a family owned factory in Sri Lanka who use the same traditional handmade methods as myself and Kate. Ceramics was born!
Our bright, colourful stoneware cups are sea freighted from Sri Lanka to my workshop in Cornwall where I apply the fun, cheeky slogans and re-fire them in our kilns to give a durable, long-lasting finish.
Our ‘Pots of Positivity’ are available in six bright, bold colours and a variety of smart phrases. Our handmade stoneware cups are here to remind you and yours just how awesome you are- delivering a boost of positivity at the bottom of every brew!
